The Canyon Club at Four Hills, previously known as Four Hills Country Club, is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
The course, designed by Bob E. Baldock, held its grand opening on July 5, 1959.
This undulating course has narrow fairways, many species of trees, and scenic mountain views. The signature hole is #6, but the most difficult hole is #16, an uphill, 525-yard, par 5, which plays more like 575 yards.
Every par 4 and 5 moves left or right, uphill or downhill and have canted fairways that result in uneven lies on almost every shot. Many greens are elevated and all are well bunkered with the mysterious "mountain effect" confusing the best of putters with tricky reads. The par 3's play in a variety of wind directions both uphill and downhill and have some of the most undulating greens on the course. With the many elevation changes, ever present "canyon winds" and special features, you may never play the same course twice. Despite the rolling hills and other special features, the golf course is very walkable due to its classic routing.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,734 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 5,646 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 8, a par-5 that plays to 559 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 6, a par-3 that plays to 172 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 4, a 501 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 6, a 172 yard par-3.

Nice challenging course course with good views and full service clubhouse. Best club course in ABQ by far, and one of the better private courses overall. Houses are not crowded against the course.
